Growing tips for USDA Zone 9b: Enjoys indirect light indoors or morning sun outdoors. Can be grown in a hanging planter or in a pot with a moss pole. Can be slightly drought tolerant if not exposed to excess heat. Will get sunburned.

About the mother plants: Mother plants are kept outdoors all year with access to morning sun, afternoon and evening shade, and protected in a covered and heated greenhouse over winter. Tolerates heat with frequent watering and temps as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Pink leaves will get sunburned, but the plant will adjust to full sun conditions after some time as new leaves become more green. Full shade and mild temperatures produce bright and deep pink colored leaves.
